This explains what innerline collects when you use our website and app, why, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run bookings, let you in at the venue, and pay Hosts.
What we collect
Account details: your name, mobile number, email address (if you sign in with Google or add one), city and the interests you pick.
Bookings: what you booked, when, the amount, coupons and Inner Points used, and your booking passes (ILTs).
Entry records: when and by whom an ILT was scanned at the venue.
If you are a Host: your venue's address, when you accepted the Host Agreement, your listing details, the pictures you upload, your door team's usernames, and the UPI or bank details you give us when a payout is due.
Messages you send us through Help, and reviews you write.
App notifications: a device token, so we can send you booking updates if you allow notifications.
Technical data: basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) kept for security and fixing faults.
What we do not collect
Card numbers, UPI PINs or bank passwords. Payments are handled by our payment partner; we receive only a payment reference and whether it succeeded.
Your location in the background. The 'I'm here' button for Hosts reads location once, only when tapped.
The camera is used only on the door-scanning screen, to read QR codes. Nothing is recorded.
Hidden details in photos: location and phone model are removed from every picture uploaded to us.
How we use it
To create and show your bookings, and let the Host's door team check you in.
To take payment, issue refunds where they apply, and keep the records a business must keep.
To send you booking confirmations, updates, cancellation or refund notices by email or app notification.
To answer your messages and handle complaints and disputes.
To prevent fraud and misuse, and to meet our legal, tax and regulatory duties.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who sees it
The Host of something you booked sees your name, phone number, email and your bookings with them, so they can run the venue and reach you about it. Their door staff see names and passes only.
Service providers who work for us: Clerk (sign-in), Razorpay (payments), Neon (database and file storage), Resend (email), Google Firebase (app notifications) and Amazon Web Services (hosting). They process data on our instructions.
Banks, payment networks, tax authorities, courts and law enforcement, when the law requires it or to prevent fraud.
How long we keep it
We keep your account while it is open. Booking and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after an account is deleted, but without your name, phone or email.
Server logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.
Your choices
See and correct your details in the app under You.
Turn app notifications off in your phone's settings at any time.
Delete your account from You → Delete account, or at /delete-account. Your sign-in and personal details are removed; past bookings remain in sales records without your name, phone or email.
Ask us for a copy of your data, or raise a concern, through Help & contact.
Age
You must be 18 or older to create an account. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must make the booking and is responsible for it. If you believe someone under 18 has given us personal data without a parent or guardian, contact us and we will remove it.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections, passes are signed so they cannot be forged, and access to our systems is limited to the people who run the service. No system can be made completely secure, and we cannot guarantee it. If a breach affects your personal data, we will take reasonable steps to limit it and tell you where the law requires.
Grievances and contact
Questions or complaints about your data: write to our Grievance Officer at innerline.events@gmail.com or +91 90436 98008, or use Help & contact. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month.
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
